PulseGuard hosts one-hour CPR and AED awareness sessions open to all Cornell students and community members. Our sessions focus on hands-only CPR techniques, AED operation, and Good Samaritan protections.

What We Cover

One-hour sessions covering essential life-saving techniques

Hands-Only CPR

Learn the essential compression techniques for effective CPR response in cardiac emergencies. Practice on training mannequins with real-time feedback.

Compression technique

AED Operation

Master the use of Automated External Defibrillators with hands-on practice. Understand when and how to deploy AEDs safely and effectively.

20 minutes
AED deployment

Good Samaritan Law

Learn about legal protections for bystanders who provide emergency assistance. Understand your rights and responsibilities as a first responder.

10 minutes
Legal protection

We collaborate with student organizations, residence halls, and local partners to make life-saving training accessible across campus.
